As part of the Cherry Blossom Festival, the US Botanic Garden has been hosting an exquisite exhibit showcasing orchids from around the world, especially those found in Japan (honoring of course the 100th anniversary of the gift of the trees). During a recent visit from my parents I was fortunate enough to see these beauties up close. The exhibit will only be around until April 28 so don’t miss out! Admission to the Garden is free and there are additional photos of orchids located in the East Gallery. Trust me that this is one time you don’t want to forget your camera.
Have you seen this exhibit? What was your favorite orchid?
